La Côte de Granit Rose

I went to Europe in summer 2011, first studying in London for two weeks, then traveling in northern France, Scotland, and Wales for the next two. In planning the trip, I discovered La Côte de Granit Rose (Pink Granite Coast) in Bretagne. The stunning coastline is one of only three such formations in the world, yet it remains a fairly quiet tourist attraction. Since I covered a lot of ground in just two weeks of traveling, I only had one afternoon and evening to spend in Perros-Guirec and Ploumanac’h. Fortunately, I had great weather for sightseeing and photography!
